The journey began in 2017 after an inspirational trip to Cambodia where I was amazed at the rich cultural heritage the Cambodians have. Due to the lack of a dress recognised nationally in my country, I took it to myself to design a fabric comprising of our country’s national symbols that could be used to make multiple themed national outfits. The reception of the ZimCollar Brand was overwhelmingly positive and many other people wanted me to do the same for other countries as well and hence the birth of Dashiki Intl.
